그는 Apprentice of Contrology® 남자 최초 졸업생이자, 김지혜 디렉터의 제자입니다. 14년 동안 웨이트 트레이닝을 하고 10년 넘게 트레이너 활동을 했습니다. 20대 후반 몸의 불균형이 심해지며 생긴 통증으로 일상생활이 힘들게 되면서 웨이트, 달리기, 교정 운동을 열심히 했지만 알 수 없는 부족함을 느꼈습니다. 2021년 박정은 가이드의 권유로 책 한 권을 읽고 Apprentice of Contrology®(도제식 필라테스 지도자 교육과정)를 도전하여 점점 필라테스에 대한 원리를 몸으로 느끼며 교육과정을 이어갔습니다. 시간이 지날수록 웨이트 트레이닝과 필라테스의 병행은 쉽지 않았습니다. 결국 열정을 바쳤던 웨이트 트레이닝을 그만두고 오직 필라테스에만 전념했습니다. 배우면 배울수록 그토록 느꼈던 부족함이 무엇인지 깨닫게 되고, 동시에 필라테스를 만난 것이 자신의 인생에서 큰 축복임을 알게 되었습니다. 그는 2021년부터 Apprentice of Contrology®(도제식 필라테스 지도자 교육과정)의 김지혜 디렉터로부터 클래식 필라테스를 사사하고 우수 졸업했습니다. 그는 졸업 이후에도 지금까지 지속적인 배움의 자세로 Apprentice of Contrology®(도제식 필라테스 지도자 교육과정)의 어프렌티스 그리고 프로가이드로 활동하고 있습니다. 그는 자신이 배운 대로 필라테스의 온전한 본질을 전달하기 위해 끊임없이 노력하고 있습니다.
